These are the terms and conditions that all ITAS Tradesmen are required to adhere to. As well as this all ITAS Approved Tradesmen are required to sign a contract ensuring them adhere to our Code of Conduct.

 

Terms & Conditions

1) The member will abide by the ITAS member's charter.

2) It is hereby agreed that the membership card will be valid during the period for which payment has been made, and that the card remains property of ITAS at all times.

3) Both ITAS and the new member will agree an official number at the time of placing the order, and will be seen as the confirmation of that order for membership.

4) You must agree to provide true and accurate information at all times when providing details to ITAS. By joining you agree to give full cooperation in any investigation that we may carry out.

5) Calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes continually improving quality of service.

6) Although we take every care in vetting and selecting our members, at no time will we accept liability for any work or services obtained through any of our members.

7) In the event of a complaint you will be asked by ITAS to explain your conduct relating to the nature of the complaint. You will be asked to submit all pertinent facts to the Executive Committee to investigate the complaint and to report back, if thought fit.

8) Payment is not due until you have passed all initial checks.

9) Invoice terms are strictly 7 days net. After this period is over the member will then be responsible for any legal fees incurred by ITAS to collect the membership fee.

10) ITAS reserves the right to alter or change the terms & conditions without prior notice.

11) All information provided to ITAS will be governed by the Data Protection Act of 1998.

12) The member is entitled to use ITAS vehicle stickers and approved logos as long as the membership is valid and up to date.

13) In the unlikely event of you wishing to cancel your membership, it must be in writing within seven days from the day your order number is given.

14) ITAS will proceed with the order for membership, on the basis of a verbal contract between the new member and us. It will not commence until we have contacted you and agree the order number (usually the members date of birth). After agreeing the order number we will proceed with the order for membership. It is your responsibility to sign and return the ITAS charter.

15) The membership term will continue in 12 months sections from the day that the order number is given. This will continue until such times as ITAS receives a cancellation letter at least 30 days before the next twelve month period begins.

16) Debt recovery services are free up to the point of court action, at this stage the member will be liable for any fees i.e. court and legal. These fees will then be placed upon the debt and returned top the member upon succesful collection of the debt.
