OUR CODE OF PRACTICE AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU.
All ITAS approved tradesmen have passed our initial vetting
procedure and will have to repeat this process every 12 months. They are also bound by contract to follow
the 'ITAS Code of Practice'. If for any reason you feel that
an ITAS approved tradesman is not meeting these stringent requirements

CODE OF PRACTICE
To ensure that all work
is completed to the highest possible standard and that all guaranteed
elements of work are agreed.
To supply a written quotation
when submitting a tender for contract.
To leave all areas clean
and tidy at the end of the day and to remove all rubbish upon
completing the contract.
To ensure that all colleagues
and sub-contractors meet these standards at all times.
To ensure that all work
is completed to pre-defined specifications and budgets as defined
in an agreed contract. All changes must be communicated
to and agreed with the customer prior to proceeding.
To arrive at the agreed
time for appointments with the customer and to give advance
warning of any unavoidable delay.
To ensure that all work
is started and completed on the agreed dates and that any unavoidable
changes are clearly communicated to the customer
To respect the customers
privacy and take all steps to ensure the security of their home/site
and a safe working environment.
To maintain adequate
employers and public liability insurance (where necessary).
To comply with all laws,
statutory regulations and Building Regulations.
To ensure that you’re
current credit rating is maintained and does not fall below
our required limits. This ensures that only the most professional
and reliable contractors remain on our listings.
