Vetted Tradesmen is the UK's leading provider of Approved Tradesmen to the domestic and commercial markets, we are also one of the most stringent when it comes to vetting our members.
Vetted Tradesmen was set up in the early part of 2004 by M Hughes Snr when he retired from the construction industry. Over the years he had realised most trade associations are unwilling to properly vet their members and not many offer decent services with tangible benefits. To help genuine trade professionals prove their ability to provide an excellent standard of work, and to provide the public with a safe way to find tradesmen he founded Vetted Tradesmen. (At the time known as the Independent Trade Accreditation Scheme.)
What originally began as a good idea had grown into an upstanding, reputable and customer service driven trade association which now has over 6,700 members and is regularly helping genuine customers meet, and do business with genuine tradesmen.
In Mid 2008 Vetted Tradesmen was handed over to Purple Karrot Ltd who also incorporated our sister company Quotation Supermarket. Since then our organisation has gone from strength to strength and now has over 12,000 tradesmen registered across the two organisations.
